What’s New for 2022

The 2022 Rogue comes with a new and more powerful engine to complement the improved ride quality. The 2022 Rogue offers even more cargo capacity, and drivers love the addition of advanced driver aids that are easy to use.

Trim Levels

The 2022 Rogue SUV is available in four trim levels. The base model is the S, and the upper trim levels are the SV, the SL, and the Platinum. The Rogue comes with excellent standard features that are upgraded with each upper-level trim.

Engine and Drivetrain

All models of the 2022 Rogue come with a smaller but more powerful turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder that makes 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. All models also sport a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is an optional extra.

Driver Experience

The spritely engine has plenty of zip, is quick off the mark, and delivers the highest amount of power and torque of any vehicle in its class. The engine’s improved performance is due to Nissan’s variable compression ratio design feature, which enables the engine to change the compression ratio in real-time, depending on the conditions and driver needs. The steering is direct while the vehicle supplies the driver with excellent handling around the city or on the open road.

Passenger Comfort

The 2022 Rogue seats five adults in comfort. All passengers have ample personal space as well as comfortable seats for longer journeys. Optional extras such as the panoramic sunroof increase the feeling of space in an already spacious SUV.

Cargo Capacity

The 2022 Rogue has all the room you need to carry cargo. The dedicated rear cargo bay offers 37 cubic feet of space. You can fold down the rear seats to double the amount of room to carry large and bulky items.

Fuel Efficiency

The new turbocharged three-cylinder engine is extremely fuel-efficient. With front-wheel drive, the Rogue will earn you 30 mpg when driving in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. The all-wheel-drive variants offer all that extra traction while only dropping the mileage by two mpg around town and on the freeways. On a full tank of gas, the 2022 Rogue has a driving range of just over 400 miles around town and slightly over 500 miles on the open roads.

Suite of Driver Aids

The 2022 Rogue comes with a host of standard driver-assistance features. Nissan’s ProPilot Assist semi-autonomous driving mode is also available on the Rogue SL and comes as standard on the Platinum trim. Notable features include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and a blind-spot monitoring system with a rear cross-traffic alert

Infotainment System

The touchscreen infotainment system sits tall on top of the dashboard. An 8.0-inch unit is standard. A larger 9.0-inch screen is available on the top-tier trims. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. Optional upgrades include in-dash navigation and a Bose stereo system. The Platinum model also comes with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a wireless smartphone charging pad, and a large 10.8-inch head-up display.
