Your Guide to the 2021 Nissan Rogue

Pro-Pilot Assist with Navi-Link

This new driver-assist system is getting a lot of buzz. It leads the class with its advanced semi-autonomous technology that’s usually reserved for luxury models. It uses data from the navigation system to detect speed limit signs and adjusts your speed automatically.

Another feature of this system is the speed adjust by route. It automatically reduces speeds around curves and assists with stop-and-go traffic while driving in the city.

Safety Shield 360

Nissan has always been dedicated to safety. The Rogue is equipped with Nissan’s suite of safety features called the Safety Shield 360. It includes six different standard features.

Chief among them is automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. If it detects an obstacle ahead, it will slow down or stop to avoid a front-end collision. Blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-departure warnings are all designed with you in mind.

Engine and Drivetrain

This new-generation Rogue comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Previous Rogues had the same engine, but Nissan bumped up the horsepower to 181. It’s paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission on all models. Quick acceleration and a smooth ride make the Rogue fun to drive in the city or on the highway.

Fuel Economy

The Rogue shines when it comes to fuel efficiency. For the front-wheel-drive model, you can expect 27 mpg city and an impressive 35 mpg highway. There’s a slight change in the all-wheel-drive model with 26 mpg city and 33 mpg highway.

Infotainment

Standard in the Rogue is a user-friendly eight-inch touchscreen with bright graphics. With upgraded trims, you’ll get a rare nine-inch touchscreen for even more visibility. If you’re looking for some really big sound, you can get a 10-speaker premium Bose audio system. That’ll really blow your doors off!

Integrated Technology

Keep everyone connected in the Rogue with its smart technology. You’ll find two USB ports, Bluetooth, satellite radio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
Some of the optional goodies are a wireless charging pad, WiFi hot spot, and a 12-inch digital instrument cluster.

Trims and Pricing

There are four available trims in the Rogue. They include the entry-level S, the SV, the SL, and at the top is the premium Platinum trim. The base model starts at $26,800 and goes up from there depending on the options. The Platinum trim with its state-of-the-art features starts at $36,580.

Cabin Stats

The Rogue seats five and has more roominess than its other classmates. When the seats are up, there are 31.6 cubic feet of cargo room. But if you need more space, you can get the Divide-N-Hide configurable cargo floor that gives a remarkable 36.5 cubic feet.
